We are proud to support veteran-owned businesses in Montgomery County! Close to nine percent of all businesses in MoCo are at least 50 percent veteran-owned and employ 15,000 people, contributing greatly to our economic growth.

In Gaithersburg, one veteran-owned biotech, Polaris Genomics, is decoding the biological underpinnings of mental health. Polaris was founded to improve the lives of service members and veterans living with PTSD. They’ve since expanded their platform to provide mental health diagnostics, research, and development across a range of mental health conditions for the benefit of all.

Want to help propel PTSD research and earn a $50 thank you? Polaris is currently recruiting volunteers for its clinical trial of PTS-ID, the first and only genomics-based test for PTSD. Contact PolarisGenomics.com to volunteer.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we celebrate Polaris Genomics for answering the call to serve. Learn more at PolarisGenomics.com.
